So I have the main video is Video One is what you see most of the time and in this small area I have Video 2, that's matted by Video 3. So what i've done basically is said that Video 2 is only going to be shown in the area of Video 3 and Video 3 is this oval. You can see as I, I kinda walk through it right here. So you can't quite see it here but there's a blurry area here. Then I'm gonna edit the effects again and see I've go the "Mosaic Effect" and I've got the "Track Matte Key" effect here I'm going to switch it so it uses video 3 as the matte.
Now the next thing I wanna do is I wanna add another effect to Video 2, uh this effect is going to be called, uh, the "Track Matte Key", so I'm going to add that "Track Matte Key" here and add it to Video 2. So you just basically can't quite tell who it is. I'm gonna create a better effect that this I can do that by using the "Edit Effects" button looking at the "Mosaic Properties" and maybe use something a little bit more decent like that. I'm going to type here and you just can't quite see here but this is the "Mosaic Effect".Īnd that's gonna blur out the entire thing so basically I've got the video in Video 1 is fine but the video in Video 2 is blurred out and the entire this is blurred out. So the first effect I wanna add to it, uh, is going to be the "Mosaic Effect". Ok so now I'm gonna go to this Video 2, so Video 2 is on top of Video 1.Īnd I'm going to edit it and add an "Effect". Now let me move this title over here in the timeline and have it match the video length. In the middle of the screen more or less.Īnd this will be the area that blurs out this. I'm going to select an oval and make it about the size of my head.
Titles are useful for much more than just adding text so I've got the text here, i'm gonna switch to the "selection tool", select the bit of text and remove it so I basically have nothing there as that title. I'm going to select "Title", "New Title", and "Default Still". Now I wanna create a third track but this one is just gonna be a title. So we have the first video track and the second video track the same thing, one is just on top of the other. So first thing we wanna do is we wanna copy this video here and move over and paste it over there.Īnd we're just doing that as a way to then move it onto the second video track. You can see I walk through the camera, and we wanna blur my face the entire way. So here we are with the sample video project, it's just one video in it.Īnd I'm going to make sure it's expanded enough so that I can see it, there, and we can watch this video. So one of the things you just can't do with iMovie is to blur a moving object like say blur out a fact as it moves through a video, but you can do that with Adobe Premiere Elements.
